Job Description

The Sr. Business Partner for Operations Management Enablement is responsible for supporting the Operations Management Enablement Sr. Manager in the identification and delivery of targeted capabilities. This individual will take a proactive role in the development and execution of projects and plans which result in high-value capabilities aligned to business priorities. The incumbent is accountable for coordinating and managing large initiatives, as well as the delivery and support of the Operations Management related IT Portfolio and serves as a primary interface to one or more functional areas (Planning, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Packaging, Distribution, Transportation, Global Trade, and Procurement) globally. The individual will play a role in understanding business operations and strategies, gathering business requirements, performing use case analysis, providing functional support for IT applications and services, supporting functional and user acceptance testing, and providing project management and coordination with the goal of delivering expected business outcomes. A key requirement of this position is the ability to provide expert-level functional and technical expertise for the Supply Chain portfolio and to ensure that projects deliver the desired business objectives and align with the overall enterprise strategy. The Sr. Business Partner must proactively identify issues with project plans, resourcing, and funding, while driving solutions to address them. Additional responsibilities include creating resource workplans, effort-level and budgetary estimates, business cases, and status reports, as well as executing all projects within approved timelines and budgets. Continuous Improvement is expected to leverage existing investments and deliver insights to business stakeholders thru collaboration and reviewing current and future business priorities and needs. Principal Accountabilities  
  • Provide functional knowledge of current and future business processes and functional/technical expertise in the IT services/applications that support them. 
  • Work with business stakeholders to document and analyze business requirements, identify and recommend solutions, and create relevant business cases informed by the overall IT strategy.
  • Provide project management, coordination, and oversight for key projects; including the creation of project work plans, resource plans, contingency plans, risk assessments, and test plans. 
  • Maximize the value of ERP and other investments by driving adoption of best practices, recommending standardized solutions to address specific requirements, and shaping the future solutions blueprints
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’ s degree in related field (Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems); an MBA is a plus
  • 1zero+ years Information Technology Experience
  • 7+ years of experience working in a Supply Chain related IT role
  • Functional and SAP technical knowledge and experience across a range of Supply Chain business processes (Planning, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Packaging, Distribution, Transportation, Global Trade, and Procurement)
  • Large– scale/Global implementation experience with SAP S4 PPE, MM, SD
  • Strong knowledge of EWM
  Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain and industry standards/best practices (i.e. SCOR), SAP SCM and industry trends
  • Global Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Health Care Technology experience strongly desired
  • Ability to develop and articulate business vision, roadmaps and value proposition
  • Able to interact at the highest levels of the organization and establish collaborative relationships with business and IT leaders, as well as clients, technology subject matter experts and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated capability to lead business requirements gathering and solution analysis, business case development, and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Certifications such as those in Six Sigma, Operations management, Inventory Management, APICS are a plus
