Sr. DevOps Engineer in Alpharetta, GA at HUNTER Technical Resources

Job Description

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related degree
• 5-8 years of professional DevOps experience
• Strong understanding of version control systems such as SVN, Git,  etc., including experience with branching and merging strategies
• Experience with build/SCM tools such as Gradle, Maven, NPM, etc. 
• Comfortable with scripting for automation and build using  Python, Perl, Shell (bash, ksh), etc.
• Comfortable in Unix/Linux/MacOS/Windows environments
• Strong knowledge of hosting applications with Java, MySQL, and Tomcat
• Strong AWS experience, including experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudformation, Cloudwatch, SQS, etc.  

• Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Chef or Puppet
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory or  Nexus
• Proficient with ELK stack
• Experience with Nagios 
• AWS/Cloud certifications a plus
