A primary focus of this role will be working across the internal COE Technology Alliances to provide an ongoing understanding of Technology progress across the enterprise. This role will partner closely with the CTO and his leadership team to design a creative and compelling strategy. The lead will draft communications that engage and inspire employees as the company repositions itself in the marketplace as a data, analytics and technology company. In addition, this role will be closely aligned with the departmental communications team that sits within Technology, including the COE Internal Communication lead and the Technology Project Manager.

This role will report directly to the Vice President, Executive and Employee Communications in Global Communications and remain embedded with the Technology COE team to ensure understanding, collaboration and engagement.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design a strategy for strong coordination from COE to enterprise that aligns on the needs for messaging platform on the Technology Transformation as part of the EFX2020 Vision.
  • Provide program leadership for the Technology Transformation communications workstreams, convening various communicators across business units so that teams receive regular progress updates and messaging is synchronized.
  • Partner closely with COE Internal team to deliver on a communications strategy that drives improved engagement, accountability and discipline towards the future state of the technology organization with heavy focus on cloud enablement.
  • Determine and develop appropriate Technology topics that should be delivered on a regular basis to the enterprise audience in creative and compelling ways. These topics must be agreed upon with Technology COE leadership and Technology Internal COE communications.
  • Proactively write communications for review by CTO and tech team – creating a ‘ first draft culture’ that originates from Global Communications in support of the COE.
  • Pitch creative ideas to the CTO and executive leadership while keeping alignment with resources.
  • Working with COE Internal team, collaborate with the 12 Alliances to promote Technology transformation progress across the enterprise.
  • Serve as a critical point of contact on Global Communications team for internal communications related to the Technology Transformation, creating and managing a robust communications roadmap and collecting and creating a variety of communications, e.g. e-mails, executive content, PowerPoints and events. Develop platform-based content for a multitude of channels.
  • Collaborate and work closely with External Communications leads to amplify external CTO events on internal channels.
  • Work closely with HR function and social/digital teams on strategies for attraction, development and retention of technology staff.

  • Bachelor’ s degree in applicable field is required.
  • 7-10 years of professional experience required, including a minimum of 3 years in communications/change roles with large-scale technology transformation projects.
  • Demonstrated experience of Information Technology communications require (samples requested). Experience in Cloud system communications, G-Suite and Google Platforms, Agile methodologies and digital asset management a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams and complex projects.
  • Change management certification and transformation consulting experience strongly desired.
  • Experience working in large, matrixed organization - preferably global.
  • Proven success in establishing relationships, being a high bandwidth communicator, with a track record of excellent collaboration.
  • Strong and engaging writing skills required, including ability to translate technical terminology and talk tracks into engaging layperson communications.
