VP Technical Product Management of Architecture

As the leader of a group of Product Managers, you will create and develop new products, product roadmaps, provide technical thought leadership to the product team, bridge the gap between ideas and delivery, advancing technologies/concepts and seeking cross business unit collaboration on solutions. You will build a formal product catalog, contribute to a global catalog that will allow teams to reuse services across the business to expedite speed to delivery. You will drive feature functionality rationalization during transformation and manage product platform migration activities.

  • Build a strong team of Product Managers that support the complex product lines within Verification Services
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, D&A, legal, UX, etc. on cutting edge technologies. Prefer Cloud based technologies experience
  • Develop innovative solutions by collaborating, as needed, across business units and core alliances
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
  • Interact with executive leadership, engineering, product management and multiple global partners to define, prioritize and deliver complex Verification Services products
  • Owns product commitments and results to business
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels and improve resources for the greater good of the customer
  • Drive effective partnership, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with varied priorities
  • Actively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’ s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
  • Work with key team members in sales, marketing and executive teams to define and develop product strategies that enable and drive innovation and go-to-market efficiency
  • Lead cross functional development on new technology from design through delivery
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control
  • Developing a long-term product strategy and road map for specific features
  • Partner closely with sales, marketing, D&A, engineering teams and business leaders to ensure the right priorities, road maps and deliverables
  • Executing on several projects concurrently while stabilizing shifting priorities
  • Play a key role in the development and advancement of strategies and priorities
  • Effectively communicate strategies & trade-offs up to senior leaders and down to Product Managers or development teams
  • Collect and evaluate operational, service, and performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement – including standard methodology research and presentation

  • A Bachelor' s degree in a technical field or a vast technological understanding. Ideally cloud computing technologies
  • Experience building and leading technical resources. You should have a desire to improve and grow your team to serve the needs of a transforming engineering organization
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing
  • 10+ years managing cross-functional technology products, projects or programs
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders without having a formal reporting relationship
  • Experience in technology roles. You may have also worked in consulting and have strong business insight
  • Technical fluency; comfort discussing or diving deep on technology concepts, schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members; understanding of the entire technology stack
  • Excellent written, oral communications and presentations skills required
  • Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment
  • Deep attention to detail including precise and effective interpersonal communications, active listening, and proven ability to manage a variety of priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable presenting to an executive audience and commanding large, diverse cross-functional teams in a composed, poised and professional demeanor
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
