Job Description

  • Secures, Enhances, and Stabilizes existing web applications for operational excellence.
  • Focuses on containerization and packaged services (microservices) for new applications using elastic infrastructure where sensible.
  • Champions Agile Devops culture within the team.
  • Reviews existing architecture solutions to support the “ strangle” transition while planning post transition improvements.
  • Brings thought leadership and functional oversight to new web application development efforts.
  • Provides best practice guidance to team and ensures development standards are adhered to.
  • Develops strong knowledge of web and mobile solutions.


  • BS or BA degree in a related field required, unless there is significant, relevant work experience
  • 1zero+ years’ experience with a high level of proficiency in advanced web design and development.
  • Strong background in full lifecycle development using multiple platforms and practices (Waterfall and Agile)
  • Familiarity or Experience with the following:
    • Full Stack Development
    • Javascript, HTML, CSS, Angular, React, Vue
    • MS Sharepoint
    • MS .Net Framework
    • JAVA
    • Python
    • Popular open source frameworks
  • 5+ years’ experience building and leading teams responsible for developing enterprise level software
  • Ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level with Management, Development, BA, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams
  • Strong experience in large scale environments with 000’ s of endpoints and very large transaction intensive database systems
  • Full understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services
  • Experience with XML related technologies including XSLT and REST/SOAP over internet protocols
  • Solid understanding and experience in relational & NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, and Cassandra)
  • System architecture and development experience in a high transaction/high availability systems
  • Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance
  • Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to learn new tools and technologies, to work independently and in a team
