Associate Marketing Manager

This role supports and executes major elements of the strategic marketing programs including communications, advertising, promotions, and events coordination - appropriately conceived to support business objectives. This position requires the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and resources in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated understanding of the functions of a robust marketing department and/or agency, including B2B branding, marketing, research & analytics and creative development and must be self-motivated, organized, flexible and possess the ability to complete projects within aggressive timeframes.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Works in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Manager to support quarterly strategic and ad hoc marketing plans
  • Implementation and activation of a comprehensive marketing plan designed to drive customer transactions. Execution areas to include email/CRM, paid media, field activations, social media, sales support, promotional execution, events coordination
  • Manages creative development process for campaign collateral, working closely with  partners to ensure high quality, on-brand and accurate work. This includes managing projects from start to finish, providing feedback to creative concepts, reviewing final proofs for accuracy, and reporting and measuring campaign success
  • Liaisons with internal partners to support initiatives including CRM / Omnichannel team, PR, Events, Brand, Social Media, Sales, Internal Communications and others
  • Recommends and develops promotional campaigns to meet client objectives and goals
  • Collaborates with and supports the sales team in the development of key sales materials and tools
  • Track and analyze campaign effectiveness, along with developing testing and optimization plans. Maintain monthly reporting dashboard

 

Qualifications:

Education:         

BA/BS in a marketing or communications discipline preferred (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business)

Experience:       

5+ years of experience in the marketing arena with a focus on strategic planning, digital marketing and/or social marketing; CRM, online advertising, online media, email marketing, website development, social media marketing, mobile marketing

Competencies/Skills:    

Technical skills combined with an analytical approach highly beneficial

Email marketing

Recent experience with web analytics tools

Excellent working knowledge of Excel and major MS Office applications

Content management

Data Analytics

Proven success with process improvement

Attention to detail with ability to stick to deadlines and work within budget

Highly organized
