What you will do:

  • Define the technology architecture of our clients Data Platform in alignment with their Enterprise Architecture and Business needs which include Data Cleansing & Normalization, Data Lineage, Data Provenance, Data Catalog, Data Governance, Data Access, Data Retention and Analytics requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and data stewards to design the Data Architecture to support the accurate, complete, secure, reliable and HIPAA/HITRUST compliant Enterprise Data Management platform.
  • Design data pipelines and transformations from various data sources of healthcare and medical data to support analytics initiatives throughout the their ecosystem
  • Work closely with the Business and IT teams to ensure alignment of data governance rules and the operations of the application supporting user requirements.
  • Liaison with Development Managers to help define the Development, Quality and Reliability of Data and Analytics Pipelines throughout the full SDLC.
  • Work closely with the Agile teams by providing technical direction and support to by instituting Data Engineering best practices that ensures the development and delivery of high quality and high performance Data and Analytics Pipelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to translate business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse designs to ensure that business needs are met.
  • Provides data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives to educate cross functional teams.


Skills and Education of Our Team:

  • Experience with new development of AWS Applications
    • Redshift
    • S3
  • 5-8 years software development experience using the following technologies:
    • SQL development
    • Big data analytics
    • Spark
    • Kafka
  • 2-3 ETL Development experience
  • Hands on experience leading large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects.
  • Deep understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP and NoSQL databases, Data Pipelining, Data Warehouse design, AbInitio, BI reporting and Dashboard development.
  • Implementation and tuning experience using technologies such as Spark, Cassandra, Kafka, Elastic Search, Amazon Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Dynamodb, Glue, Redshift etc.
  • Track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns and good coding practices
  • Track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments.
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or Math.
