Job Description

The USIS Operations Strategy & Transformation team is looking for a strong Project Manager with hands-on experience managing, tracking and reporting on the Business Assurance Workstream to support the USIS’ s Cloud Transformation Initiative. The Business Assurance Project Manager will work with internal stakeholders across Data & Analytics, Marketing, Technology, Sales, Product, Support and other parts of the company' s ecosystem to ensure Operational Readiness following the migration. The role requires a seasoned professional who is resourceful, confident under pressure, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The right candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

  • Project, Program and Process Management
  • Responsible for planning, monitoring and managing internal projects and programs.
  • Activities may include process and project identification, planning and execution.
  • Secures required resources, use formal processes, tools and methodologies to manage project / program resources, budgets, risks and changes.
  • Manages projects to ensure on-time completions according to specification and budget costs or manages enterprise programs to ensure program meets desired objectives or identifies opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency and enable increased growth.
  • Manages projects, ensuring that project activities and timelines are met.
  • Identifies critical capabilities, project resources, budgets and critical path issues and reports to project sponsors/project team.
  • Acts as liaison on to Project sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure project is completed and meets business requirements.
  • Leverage technical expertise for project planning, resource management, system / technology / validation testing and implementation planning
  • Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieve goals through own work
  • Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education
  • May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise
  • Manage complex, cross-functional non-Technology programs, which may include overall program budgeting, program objectives, planning and execution of the program, operations management and program reporting
  • Perform program risk management and identify risk resolution remedies.
  • Monitor and communicate program measures of success, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and management.
  • Define program controls and governance – processes, procedures, reporting and policies – to manage the overall program.
  • Leverage project management methodology and expertise for project planning, resource management, system / technology / validation, testing and operational readiness.
  • Liaise with project sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure project is completed and meets business requirements.
  • Ensure program deliverables align to the program’ s desired outcome and supports business initiatives and strategies.

  • Bachelors of Arts or Science Degree
  • 5+ years of project management work experience required
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Strong track record of successfully completing projects
  • Experience with MS Google Suites
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional team
  • May provide guidance to junior team members as needed.
  • IT certification, PMP or other project/program management certified, LEAN or MBA
  • Experience with Google Suites
  • Experience with Lucid, Tableau and/or Spotfire
