We have a client in Alpharetta, GA that is  looking for a Delivery Manager to design, develop, deploy, and manage systems and technology. This person must be  passionate about their work, and embrace  the ideals of a Lean Enterprise Agile environment.

Your  Responsibilities will require you to:
  • Accountable for solutions and systems that meet the business goals and strategic direction
  • Charged with designing the right solution for initiatives and epics to delivery business value
  • Peer review the backlog artifacts and assist in product refinement sessions. Participate in product and portfolio planning
  • Ensure  the right level of both automated and manual quality assurance is applied to the developed systems and technology
  • Understand and peer review technology solutions, ensuring architectural solutions meet the desired outcomes
  • Orchestrate dependencies and ensure blockers from risks and issues are removed
  • Drive improvements in both process and technologies
  • Work with  sellers, architects, consultants, third-party partners, and business partners to ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Experienced in hiring and retaining the best technology talent
  • Participate in mentoring and talent development programs for delivery team members
  • Strong project or program management skills in a highly technical environment
  • Communicate context internally for the team and to the larger organization.
  • Coach people with powerful questions rather than use authority
  • Track record of executing projects from start to finish with a strong prioritization and time management
  • Own the careers of the individuals that report to you.

Qualified Candidate Profile:
  • 10+ years of overall software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading Agile software development teams
  • Successfully released software products from ideation to production
  • Experience successfully building teams in an Agile environment
  • Ability to demonstrate the fundamentals of leadership
  • Experience mentoring engineers to greatness: code, test, and culture
  • Knowledge of when to intervene and when to let the team struggle
  • Understand how to be a partner in the Agile estimation process
