Infrastructure/DevOps Architect

We are seeking a DEVOPS Architect/Systems Engineer to provide the interface between Systems Engineering, Systems Operations and Application Development teams to help transform the organization into a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery model across all product lines, targeting the best-in-class Iaas and PaaS provided by the Global Platform Services team. As a DevOps Architect you will have the objective of keeping software always production ready via hands free releases of software to various environments, by means of deployment pipelines and various IaaS and PaaS patterns.

- Participate and coordinate Cloud readiness assessments for the application teams
- Document, train and implement of best practices for CI/CD across the organization
- Create of service request tickets and change tickets to specify the build of the IaaS across all configuration management environments
- Mentor application development teams to utilize CI/CD concepts
- Facilitate development of new engineering patterns with the application development teams and systems engineering
- Help transform internal teams through build and deployment automation
- Work as a member of the senior technical team to develop a world class Continuous Delivery Practice
- Work with team leadership and architects; maintain and deploy internal build and releases
- Develop automation to quickly and rapidly deploy instances from hardened images
- Support application deployments, building new systems and upgrading and patching existing ones.
- Contribute to the creation of system support documents such as run books

1. Take inventory of all network devices within the networks
2. Review configuration of over 1, 000 routers and firewalls
3. Validate existing network inventories and fill in the gaps of missing or incomplete catalogs
4. Confirm device is configured to adhere to backup processes
5. Confirm correct logging configuration
6. Confirm and document devices are enrolled in centralized management
7. Review other aspects of device management and document details for centralized reference
