Director Corporate IT systems

Essential Responsibilities:  
  • Partner with various business units to define, source, implement, and support application and technology solutions. Ensure ongoing and consistent communications on business initiatives to ensure productive and collaborative organizational relationships.
  • Participate in strategic decisions regarding the related IT functions.
  • Serves as a lead role in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology.
  • Drive successful implementation of enterprise technology initiatives with emphasis on continual improvement and efficiencies.
  • Manages a portfolio of projects throughout their lifecycle, paying close attention to size, scope, and budget of numerous projects.
  • Actively support and participate with the PMO team and ensures the portfolio is managed accordingly. Monitors the progress of projects related to the goals stipulated in the project work plans. Takes a leadership role in resolving problems that impede the progress of the implementation.
  • Manage third party relationships, including, but not limited to, contract negotiations, delivery of agreed upon service levels, periodic service reviews and information sharing.
  • Prepare and maintain operating and capital budgets for assigned departments.
  • Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
  • Strong focus on team development, supporting employee development plans to build skills and competencies.
  • Proactively shares knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of these business units.
  • Assist the senior management of these areas with any IT related issues or questions
  • Coordinate acquisition and merger financial system interfaces and conversions

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Will manage 2 – 4 IT professionals, which may include EBS architect, Oracle finance functional lead and/or Order to Cash technical lead.
  • Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these Associates.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’ s policies and applicable laws

Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’ s degree from a four year college or university in similar discipline preferred. Master’ s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar discipline preferred.
  • 1zero+ years of experience in combined IT development, program management, portfolio management, and IT Technical staff management role(s).
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training with Oracle ERP applications at a supervisory level and managing cross functional teams.
  • 7+  years of leadership experience, working directly with senior management of multiple departments
  • 3+  years’ experience working in formal project management teams, strong working knowledge of the Oracle EBS applications and strong financial understanding of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Statements.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Applications (such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, UltiPro, ADP, OBIEE, EPM and etc.), Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Projects and etc.). Computer servers, Desktop computers, Cloud Platforms, Application Lifecycle Management (such as JIRA, HP ALM and etc.).
  • Management experience in the Oracle distribution and financial modules of “ Order to Cash” and “ Plan to Pay” and “ Financials – EBS”.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Oracle AIM, project management, AGILE, Continuous Improvement and Project / Service Delivery (such as Six Sigma, PMP, ITIL and etc.).
