Job Description

The Director of Product Management will work within the  Product Performance team and will be responsible for tracking and reporting on the profitability, compliance, and competitiveness.  This role will also create business cases to understand the value, potential impact, and level of effort for and proposed projects and projects on our roadmap.  The Director of Product Management will create and drive project plans through launch and will facilitate kickoff sessions with all stakeholders and break out sessions with departmental stakeholders and the Product Owner. 

  • Create and present business cases to the Leadership Team
  • Evaluate current product line to determine profitability, competitiveness in the market, and functionality gaps
  • Maintain industry regulatory/compliance knowledge
  • Assist in defining KPIs for the product line
  • Assist in determining pricing for  product line
  • Conduct competitive research to determine the new market opportunities and positioning strategies
  • Provide recommendations on build, buy, or partner-strategies based on time to market and level of effort
  • Manage product launch; from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Define and articulate product and business requirements
  • Partner with Product Owners to convey information for user stories

Qualified Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor’ s degree, preferably in business, information technology, or business-related area
  • 7+   years of relevant experience; 3+ years payments industry experience, strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to assess and enhance product effectiveness
  • Strong work ethic; a self-starter with the ability to problem solve and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to organize complex information and to communicate that information across the organization
  • Experience in Scrum and Agile environment
