This person will keep the day to day things going like contacting benefits with questions, processing payroll and attendance, facilitating FMLA. 

A large responsibility will be to coordinate with the staffing agency we are using for our production positions. 

Overall Objective:

Provide effective administration of all HR policies, procedures, benefits, and programs with particular emphasis on benefits administration and employee relations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for proactive non-exempt and production staffing activities including appropriate agency contacts, applicant screening, referrals for job-specific and physical assessments as appropriate to temporary and regular employment.

• Participate in monitoring of issues which affect associate morale and in the development of procedures and programs to impact positive associate relations and morale.

• Provide support to supervisors and managers regarding human resources policy and procedure for effective interpretation and administration.

• Develop and deliver training/effective presentations related to Human Resources programs and activities.

• Provide clerical administration for Workers’ Compensation, FMLA and Disability programs

• Identify report and potentially correct deficits within the human resources system.

• All administrative/clerical responsibilities including payroll and benefit administration.

Qualifications:

3-5 years HR administrative or generalist experience

Extensive experience with Windows based tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Experience with Kronos timekeeping is a plus.
