Job Description


The Information Security Engineering Analyst will lead security efforts to design, implement, administer, and support information security technologies and processes that will ensure data and systems are adequately protected. The IS Engineering Analyst is required to perform a broad range of security duties requiring a high level of cyber security knowledge. This position will serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert (SME) working with project teams to define security requirements for programs, applications, processes, and new systems in line with the enterprise information security architecture.

Essential Functions
  • Experience with application and network penetration testing
  • Support application security automation
  • Provide secure coding guidance to development staff
  • Experience with Web Application Firewalls (F5, Imperva, Bluecoat)
  • Experience with securing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Participate in Vulnerability and Threat Management program
  • Perform root cause analysis on security incidents
  • Follow a structured change control process
  • Proactively and collaboratively work with departments to develop, implement and document practice/procedures that meet defined policies and standards for information security management
  • Provide subject matter expertise to executive management on a broad range of information security standards and best practices and offer strategic and tactical security guidance for all IT projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls
  • Use an information security architecture framework and methodology to enable reuse of information security components across the enterprise
  • Assist proof-of-concept activities for innovation initiatives to ensure coverage of information security requirements
  • Perform security risk assessments on existing and potential vendors to evaluate infrastructure controls
  • Support and manage security infrastructure, including but not limited to; Proxies, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, APT solution, etc.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Computer Science
  • 7+ years related experience
  • CISSP and/or other Security Certifications are preferred
  • Ability to research, analyze and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Strong familiarity with security practices including issues surrounding web application security and experience in testing applications for vulnerabilities
  • Able to work independently and be a self-starter; managing multiple tasks according to priorities; results oriented and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in the vulnerability assessment lifecycle from the point of identification to remediation including penetration testing and source code analysis tools
  • Experience with Endpoint Threat Protection controls
  • Network Security and Cyber Forensic investigations is a plus
