Infrastructure Technical Project Manager 
 
Primary
  responsibilities:
  • Provide support and consulting for  customers in complex application/system projects focusing on system architecture and IT operations  
  • Support application owner in terms of IT hardware/cloud selection fitting the project requirements and being cost efficient.  
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to define new IT infrastructure operation standards and methods for application infrastructure
  • Develop operations processes for complex application architectures.  
  • Provide project management expertise
  • Coordinate and control the build of complex infrastructures in the data center including all interfaces
  • Collaborate with external contractors, create and maintain all related documentation, prepare and run the quality gate sessions
  • Understanding the ' big picture' and relevant interrelationships
  • Focusing on customer benefit – anticipating and addressing needs of customers and business partners
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts outside the organization and engaging relevant partners to win their commitment and trust

Education
Bachelor' s Degree with emphasis in:
  • Computer/Information Science
  • Information Technology
  • Management Information System (MIS)
     
Knowledge/Experience
IT infrastructure:
  • 3-Tiered Architecture
  • Network (TCP/IP, Firewall concepts)
  • OS concepts: Linux, Windows Server
  • Storage (SAN, NAS)
  • Cloud environments (AWS, Azure), managing implementations and operational tasks
  • DevOps organization, working with DevOps engineers managing infrastructure as code and configuration management
  • Containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Scrum processes and agile frameworks

Nice to Have:
  • Cloud certifications from AWS or Azure
  • Project Management Certifications, i.e. PMP or Prince2, preferred
  • Scrum Master Certification preferred
