For IT Product SMEs: From a Business Management perspective, typically provides technical expertise to support full or partial product lifecycle; suggests innovations and digitalization opportunities; proactive in cross-functional Product teams; actively mitigates issues impacting successful Product team outcomes; and may collaborate with Vendors and Suppliers on technical issues.
From a Technology Management perspective, an IT Product SME typically advises on the Product and may act as a technical escalation point; is involved in CI efforts to support business outcomes; may work with the Product Vendor to understand new functionality or changes on the Vendor’ s roadmap; and has involvement in ensuring IRM technical risks are fully evaluated.
Applies advanced level of knowledge and skills concerning assigned IT systems and domains to project.
Advises internally on solving functional and technical problems regarding the assigned applications and infrastructure.
Required Skills:
Excellent working knowledge of troubleshooting BGP / OSPF routing, QOS/COS settings and WAN technologies such as MPLS, Internet, Private Lines, VPN etc.
Extensive experience of configuring Cisco routers required.
Scripting experience preferred.
Experience of Cloud connectivity including Azure and AWS. Working with Cisco SD-WAN solutions preferred.
