Job Description


As a Software Tester you will be responsible for creating, documenting, and executing test plans and automated tests. You will be involved in the full project life cycle while working on an Agile team to take requirements through design, development, and testing. In addition, you will be a part of a team that supports a highly transaction cloud based application with many software integrations supporting an extensive client base.

Job Duties:
  • Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data
  • Define Release Test Plans and criteria for user acceptance including entry/exit criteria
  • Develop, update and maintain quality testing standards and procedures
  • Create and maintain a testing library using TestRail and Jira
  • Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s)
  • Developing testing methodologies to ensure release readiness
  • May assist with any software changes for documentation update or correction.
  • Assist with education and training regarding software enhancements and conveying corrections to other employees.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years with QA or Software Testing experience
  • 3+ years writing and maintaining thorough and complete test plans
  • 2+ years of experience using Test Automation tools, focused on REST/SOAP/Web UI frameworks

Skills & Knowledge Required:
  • Experience utilizing SQL to analyze transactional data in order to validate test cases
  • Efficient and detail oriented with an understanding of priorities and time management.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly when determined by business needs
  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity utilizing Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, leveraging the Jira platform
  • Extensive knowledge of all MS products.
  • Ability to communicate with development staff
  • Good data gathering and analysis skills.
  • Must demonstrate superb professional verbal and written communication skills, through clearly written, concise and comprehensive documentation.
  • Fast learner of new technologies and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Title Industry, helpful.
