Our client is looking for an accomplished Lead Product Designer to help build an industry-leading Marketing platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of key experiences of the platform. This includes both guiding a team of UX professionals to deliver a great user experience on the entire platform as well as rolling up your sleeves and taking on key projects/experiences that are instrumental
- Inspire and mentor others on the UX team
- Translate product requirements to a coherent and consistent user experience
- Design high quality, pixel-perfect visual interfaces and assets, keeping in mind different browsers/OSes/resolutions
- Drive designs to a successful implementation working closely with developers throughout the process
- Plan and collaboratively prioritize strategic and tactical design work, working across the UX, Product Management and UX Engineering teams
- Work strategically with Product Development Leadership and other key leaders across the organization
- Participate in strategic discovery, discussions, and decisions about design and technology platforms, options and alternative solutions
- Maintain and develop the platform’s user interface style guide and other design guidelines
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of SaaS product design experience. Experience with designing B2B software or especially complex systems is highly desired
- 2+ years of UX leadership experience. While this could be fulfilled by leading a team of UX professionals, it could also be through being the lead designer for a medium/large team or project
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented with an ability to facilitate design discussions with heterogeneous teams
- Intimate familiarity with Agile/Lean software development principles and mindset
- Ability to discuss UI patterns and their pros/cons depending on context of use
- Comfortable leading the discussion on different kinds of standards approaches such as style guides, component libraries and web standards
- Prefer experience with Sketch, Invision, and Axure and a willingness to learn new software
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
- An interest in marketing technology
