Job Description

Our client is looking to add a Marketing Analytics Manager to their growing team. In this role, you will manage marketing performance measurement and optimization for 2-3 brands. You will:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for marketing performance and customer data for 2-3 brands for B2C and B2B
  • Developing and maintaining brand attribution models leveraging the Google and Microsoft platforms
  • Partnering on the development of a mixed media model to optimize online and offline marketing efforts
  • Leading the development of our data democracy across brands by providing training, support, and assistance to Brand leaders and their teams
  • Engaging with brand directors and channel managers to create campaign experiments to drive customer engagement
  • Setting up and monitoring marketing performance alerts for optimization opportunities
  • Driving agency partners to operationalize stronger taxonomies with a focus on a future state marketing automation platform
  • Partnering with the data team to develop quantitative models, testing frameworks, and visualization methods to drive strategic decisions
  • Creating marketing analytics case studies and profiles of competitors to identify risks and opportunities for each brand
  • Supporting leadership’s execution of marketing analytics and data management roadmap
  • Providing ad hoc analyses support when requested by marketing and other stakeholders

We are looking for you if you have:

  • At least 4-8 years of marketing analytics brand experience or hand’s on Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field
  • Familiarity with data-driven optimization techniques across multiple marketing channels, including paid search, social media, programmatic display, email
  • Ability to independently design user-friendly reports and perform ad-hoc analyses leveraging complex data sets from multiple sources
  • Ability to synthesize analytical findings and effectively communicate the “so what” of complex analyses to drive stakeholder alignment
  • Strong grasp of experimental design (including A/B, multivariate, geo, cookie-based, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Google Analytics 360 and/or Adobe Analytics, and other analytical tools
  • Comfortable with Linux environments
  • Experience developing and managing data sets in the cloud
  • Experience with data science workstations and virtual machines
  • Comfort analyzing both B2B and B2C marketing efforts

Strong candidates will also have:

  • 8+ years in the analytics or related field
  • Strong experience with the Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong Linux and terminal background
  • Experience with Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Github
  • Expertise with relational databases and data mining techniques (e.g., cluster analysis, regressions, decision trees, predictive modeling)
  • Experience with API development
  • Ability to use Python to perform analyses and data transformations
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms, DMPs, CRMs and/or other marketing data sets/tools
  • Master’s degree preferred
