Network Architect 

The Network Architect is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures across the enterprise.  

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop technical solutions drawn from business needs; security compliance, new product development, and growth in regards to scalability.
  • Understanding of common business requirements, processes, and challenges in order to develop appropriate technology strategies and solutions to support business objectives.
  • Analyze technical needs, requirements, and the state of the infrastructure design, integration, and operations, and recommend proven and cost-effective solutions.
  • Work with the technology team to architect networks that effectively reflect business needs, service-level and availability requirements, and other technology parameters.
  • Develop design principles, models, plans, internal standards, ROI, and processes based on industry best practices.
  • Establish governing principles for network design and deployment.
  • Participate in selection of networking technologies and products for implementation.
  • Lead teams of other in developing detailed designs and quality-control mechanisms during implementation.
  • Ensure that the network is accurately documented and related to the environment that it supports.
  • Provide migration and installation support for chosen vendors
  • Create/automate configuration templates for wide scale-deployments


  • Experience with PaloAlto Firewalls, Cisco Firewalls/Switches, Aruba Wireless, AWS Virtual Private Cloud, BIND9, LINUX, Ansible, GIT
  • Advanced knowledge of network routing, VPN tunneling, LAN & WAN trouble shooting, QoS, and VoIP.
  • Able to provide hands on support and assistance within the SOC and Service Desk Teams, if require 
  • A history of success with respect to managing an enterprise network.
  • Strong technical knowledge around hardware & software support.
  • Hands on with 7+ years of strong networking experience
  • Must have AWS or cloud experience
  • Highly developed communication and problem solving skills
