Operational Readiness Lead

Our Client is seeking an experienced and creative Operational Readiness Lead to define and drive key Operating Model changes, driving our customer migration approach and ensuring the business is ready to implement and adopt new changes. You will manage key stakeholders, assess business change impacts, lead teams, build transition plans, complete business change readiness activities and transform behaviors which will support the business through this transformation. This role requires a leader with in depth organizational change experience, a great blend of technical understanding, drive and interpersonal skills in order to get things done.

  • Design and execute organizational design improvements to drive efficiency and productivity within the company
  • Drive and coordinate activity to support our customer migration strategy
  • Act as a lead for the Operational readiness, sharing knowledge, industry best practice and driving activity
  • Facilitate workshops, analyze operational data and work closely with key stakeholders to design the new Mustang impacted operating model. This will involve clearly outlining roles, responsibilities and various impacts on the organization
  • Determine change impacts to the business, define readiness criteria and approach, develop readiness assessment tools, track readiness and identify areas of support
  • Develop and deploy a robust transition plan outlining the steps to deploy changes into the organization across Program
  • Develop robust Contingency procedures for how to mitigate / resolve business and system impacts in the case of a failed go-live into production
  • Complete operational readiness preparation activities to ensure all working practices, procedures, policies, job aids, communications, operational reports etc. are up to date and available pre-go live
  • Provide guidance and support to the training and communication leads - to help end-users succeed
  • Provide post implementation support to the Business to help them adopt the changes
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of changes implemented

  • A minimum of 7 years prior Organizational Design, Organizational Change Management consulting or equivalent industry experience
  • Large scale Business Transformation Program experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to ensure Business and IT stakeholders fully understand the end-to-end solution that will be delivered
  • Strong analytical skills with and attention to detail
  • Should be highly results driven, with the energy and determination to problem solve and succeed in a very fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Needs to be an independent, creative thinker and a key contributor in driving successful project delivery
  • College or university degree and/or relevant work experience required
