Seeking an IT Project Manager who would be responsible for management of the entire project life cycle from project definition/scope through implementation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and drive project milestones. Identify, coordinate and manage resources and key stakeholders for project.
- Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
- Manage all communication plans, training and documentation. Deliver projects on time, at/under budget and within scope.
- Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Act as the liaison between the project team, leadership, and other key stakeholders. Lead project meetings to communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Leverage Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies as deemed appropriate for a given situation or project need.
- Perform Program Risk Management analysis. Understand technical nature of the issues to be able to help resolve the impediments.
- Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with original business objectives and requirements
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’ s degree in business or IT field
- Agile certifications desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A proven functional/technical professional with minimum 5-10+ years’ experience of leading large cross functional initiatives across applicable IT and Business functions.
- Position requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively, and maintain focus on goals.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a highly matrix organization, in a fast paced and dynamic business environment with aggressive timelines.
- Strong project and program management and process improvement experience.
- Proficient in using MS Project, MS Office.
