Project Manager

Summary

The Project Manager will work with business and technology partners to assist with the planning and coordination of training, gathering and reporting of metrics, and communication to key stakeholders. The Project Manager will be a single point of contact for internal training, and assist with scheduling and logistics for events across multiple teams. The Project Manager will also work with external vendors to plan and schedule training, brown bag and general knowledge sessions, help increase product knowledge, and raise awareness of utilities and tools available to engineering teams. The Project Manager will assist with AWS migration planning and coordination, working with teams to identify roadblocks and pull together support teams to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Internal Training coordination: planning of training events, logistics, attendance tracking, and training metrics across all portfolios
  • External Training coordination: work with vendors to identify training opportunities, schedule training events, and track attendance across all portfolios
  • Track employees who have completed certifications and qualifications within the company
  • Gather data from multiple teams within the program to generate dashboard metrics. Prepare and assemble data to provide summary information to executive leadership
  • Gather data from the diverse program¬†activities to provide insight into product launches, training, issues, outages and other key events; prepare and disseminate data using multiple channels (Email, Web Sites, Microsoft Teams)
  • Support the team by scheduling and leading meetings to review financial metrics, migration progress, and to address issues encountered by teams using, or migrating to, AWS
  • Curate web pages to gather and structure diverse information to provide a central hub for teams to find training information, financial metrics, AWS best practices, and other related content

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

  • Able to work independently, with minimal direction and oversight
  • Build good working relationships with a diverse group of individuals, able to use personal influence to keep projects and activities moving forward
  • Ability to multitask and switch between different projects and events, ensure all planned activities are being monitored and quickly identify risks or issues. Demonstrate good judgment on when to escalate or seek help
  • Strong organizational ability, able to define and implement a process without unnecessary complexity
  • Working knowledge of Agile and waterfall processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
