Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Atlanta

Our client is growing and are looking to add a Strong Quality Assurance Engineer to their team. Responsibilities including designing and implementing tests, in addition to reviewing system requirements and tracking Quality metrics.

Responsibilities
  • Utilizing JMeter for Performance and Load Testing
  • Participate in the entire project lifecycle.
  • 3+ years testing experience in a web / client-server environment
  • Provide troubleshooting/ performance tuning for .Net applications.
  • Accurately communicate testing estimates, status, and continually work toward removing project roadblocks.
  • Create test scripts based on Business requirements, Workflows and use cases;  
  • Setup  and maintain automation environment, frameworks using Test complete, Web UI tools or similar and create test applications.
  • Participate in various testing types including functional, GUI, Regression, Performance, Security, Ad-hoc, System, End-end, and integration testing.
  • Apply a prioritized approach to testing, to find the most serious issues first.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of testing process and procedures by analyzing reported bugs/issues and then assessing test coverage and project execution around these areas.
  • Utilize strong troubleshooting/ problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • Must have 3+ years of experience using JMeter for Performance and Load Testing
  • Proficient in creating high-level test plans, detailed test cases, and unit test automation 
  • SQL Server experience.   The ability to write and run easy to moderate queries for testing and production inquiries.
