Reporting Analyst

Summary: 
Responsible for leveraging Business Intelligence tools and techniques combined with a deep understanding of customer strategic objectives to deliver reports, dashboards, analyses, visualizations, and insights. The Reporting Analyst works interactively with the Business Intelligence team to lead the design and continuous improvement of HR reporting, metrics processes, and reporting and quality standards. 

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of HR systems and reporting tools
  • Establishes relationships with the business units in order to understand their strategies and business reporting needs
  • Provides subject matter expertise to corporate and division customers for business reporting needs with the goal of enabling customers to generate information in a self-service environment
  • Works closely with BI team to resolve issues in a timely manner while assisting in identifying the cause and corrective action for the issue
  • Administers and publishes reports and dashboards for department and internal customers, providing visibility into HR processes, high-level metrics, and trending
  • Leads the design of reporting functional requirements for new and ongoing projects
  • Implements and maintains reporting analytical capabilities to provide insights, metrics, and trends that align with business needs
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of  four years working knowledge and experience with reporting, analyzing data, and building dashboards from HR systems; minimum of three years in a consultative role (internal or external); 
  • Intermediate to Advanced SQL Skills
  • Advanced experience with one or more reporting tools, e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Oracle BI, Power BI, etc.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Taleo, and/or Oracle Cloud systems
  • Knowledge of HR, Talent Acquisition, and/or Goals and Performance Management processes
  • Experience with Project Management; Agile methodologies a plus
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization
  • Experience with data modeling best practices and techniques is a plus
