Sales Development Representative

Due to fantastic business growth we are looking for a motivated, committed and dynamic individual to join our commercial sales team. This role is in a small, but growing sales team with a great opportunity for accelerated progression into a future sales role.

This position is ideal for an ambitious individual with strong interpersonal skills, who wants to kickstart or take the next step in their sales career. Your goal is to create more opportunities for the sales team by qualifying and nurturing leads. You will work closely with all members of the sales team.

Responsibilities:

Generating leads
  • Primary focus on following up with existing or new, warm leads including old opportunities, webinar attendees, tradeshow leads, content downloads and contact form
  • Cold calling and cold emailing to help generate a new pipeline of leads, when required
  • Prospecting via LinkedIn and other channels, which will be supported by the marketing team

Qualifying leads
  • Respond to inbound queries (calls, emails, live chat)
  • Qualify leads by gauging their interest, understanding their requirements and recognizing which solution they are most suited for
  • Once qualified, set a call/meeting/demonstration for the appropriate business development manager
  • Provide information/pricing on the solutions and work to build rapport with prospects

Nurturing leads
  • Work with marketing to apply drip campaigns and engagement emails to nurture prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to analyse leads
  • Track all tasks using our CRM

Customers
  • There will be increased involvement with existing customers over time, for upselling
  • The above activities will be tracked and targeted quarterly by the Sales Director

Experience
  • Experience in a telesales role helpful, but not essential (Graduates welcome)
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LinkedIn and other office relevant tools
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to work towards targets and other KPI’ s is essential
