The Business Analyst works cross-functionally and with multiple levels of the organization to ensure timely and quality design of sales solutions. The successful candidate will be experienced and motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and solid understanding of Sales Account Planning Processes and a general understanding of the Salesforce platform and capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multiple levels of the sales, marketing, finance, and operations organizations to understand current business issues and pain points. Identify opportunities to optimize processes and leverage technology to address pain points and drive business value.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand current account planning business processes, identify gaps between current processes and enterprise process, define solutions to address gaps, document user stories and business requirements and associated business value.
  • Socialize streamlined and transformed business processes with the business to obtain buy in on process changes and tool capabilities.
  • Work with the business to enable them to define plans to operationalize transformed business processes within their business, including updated process documentation, communication plans, end user training and updated metrics and dashboards to monitor and measure new processes.
  • Support prioritization of user stories across multiple business processes and stakeholders to drive the most business value.
  • Create and maintain project deliverables to ensure business processes, use cases, business requirements, functional designs, test plans, etc are thoroughly and consistently documented using standard templates and centralized repository
  • Partner with IT on solution design, advocating for optimized processes, out of the box configuration, efficient user experience and ultimately a positive customer experience.
  • Partner with IT to assess bolt-ons to Salesforce for business processes and capabilities not satisfied by the Salesforce platform.
  • Document acceptance criteria and testing requirements for positive, negative and regression testing for user stories.
  • Support QA Leader to execute testing activities for use cases, including defect resolution (tracking, triage, resolve, re-test)
  • Provide content for end user training design, documentation and delivery efforts
  • Provide end user and production support
  • Establish and maintain positive communication and professional relationships with internal/external customers, team members and vendors/partners.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor' s degree from an accredited college or university. Major in Business Management, Computer Science, MIS, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • 7-10 years of business analysis experience within a professional services, sales or sales support role
  • Salesforce.com certification preferred
  • Experience with sales processes, sales methodologies and account planning
  • Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, creating detailed functional designs and process documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed business environment
  • Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
  • Developing skills with Google suite
