Job Description:
As a Senior Agile Scrum Master you will be responsible to facilitate one or more scrum teams for delivery of strategic technology products.
This position requires individuals to have extensive track records of delivering high quality systems and products.
  • Respond to a fast paced and rapidly changing dynamic environment.
  • Must have strong understanding of and hands-on experience with Agile Methods, especially Scrum.
  • In addition, requires close collaboration with enterprise Agile Coaches to ensure compliance with Scrum implementation approach
  • You will also coach teams on scrum practices to ensure benefit from and adherence to core agile principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Scrum Master for 1-2 scrum teams with focus on guiding teams toward improving the way they work.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up, sprint planning, retrospective and stakeholder demos.
  • Assist Product owner with keeping the backlog groomed.
  • Ensure stories contain right level of detail before team commit to in a sprint.
  • Work with Team/Squad lead on execution of team' s deliverables.
  • Reach out to other scrum teams, third parties and organization at large to manage dependencies.
  • Remove impediments for team on a daily basis before they become blockers.
  • Provide clear directional status and risk/issue escalation to Squad lead that may impact committed deliverables.
  • Monitor key metrics that help the team see how they are doing e.g. velocity, burn-down charts, test coverage etc.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to facilitate release management and scheduling across teams.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement and play active role in organization’ s agile transformation.
  • Active participation and contribution to company' s Agile Scrum Master Forums.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor' s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years IT related experience.
  • 3+ years as Scrum Master working on large scale, multiple Scrum team projects.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of iterative development.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Understanding of backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • Hands on experience with Jira (Administrator preferred), Confluence, etc.
  • Understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics.
  • Excellent English communication skills in written and spoken form.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to negotiate with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
  • CSM, CSPO or other Agile based certifications.
  • Experience with SAFe or other scaled agile programs.
  • Experience with Kanban and other Agile methodologies.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to execution.
  • Experience managing scrum teams through automation process.
