Sr. Project Manager
Position Description:
• You will be accountable for simultaneously managing a variety of (ISO) Information Security Office projects that are important to the success of the business.
• Taking the reins as the Project Manager, you' ll be expected to come up to speed quickly on a wide range of technologies, understand and implement solutions to cross-functional challenges, quickly develop and foster relationships with leaders from across the organization, and serve as the glue that keeps the projects on track
• Lead project meetings with product managers, vendors, hardware/software engineers, developers and other necessary team members.
• Interact with senior and executive level leadership on a regular basis and develop reports to keep them informed.
• Motivate and manage project efforts of team members, resolve conflicts, and provide performance feedback to technology group managers.
• Create and manage all of the accepted project management deliverables including the project charter, project plan, budget, resource plan, risk plan, implementation plan and other deliverables as required.
• Track, manage, and adjust the original plan as necessary to ensure success.
Qualifications:
• Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques as approved by PMO.
• Creativity/Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities.
• Foster Teamwork, Leadership skills, Rapid Decision making, Organized Planner with extensive knowledge for on the spot problem solving
• Associates or Bachelor’ s degree, or related experience in information technology (IT) or project management, with 6 or more years of experience in project-based environment with 2 or more years of experience in an IT or business environment.
• Candidates experienced in strategic planning, risk management, finance and/or change management are given highest consideration.
• Proficiency in project management software tools; such as MS Project, JIRA, PowerPoint, Clarity
• Project Management Professional (PMP) desired; not required
• Preferred qualifications or skills include: understanding of application/system development, requirement analysis & management, and quality assurance. Candidate may travel up to 10% domestic and international.
