Senior Systems Engineer - Audio/Visual/Conferencing
Fulltime role in Atlanta, GA

This professional is a fully qualified Sr. Systems Engineer who applies a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures related to all aspects of audio/video systems including enterprise management platforms. This engineer must be competent to work on highly complex assignments and perform a full range of technical support activities.


  • Enterprise experience with Microsoft Windows imaging, autounattend.xml configuration and Microsoft Skype Room System (SRS) configurations
  • Creating and managing Microsoft Windows policies in Microsoft Intune including SRS configuration parameters.
  • Design, engineering, and troubleshooting of video conferencing software platforms, particularly Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business.
  • Enterprise experience with Polycom device configuration and updates managing VVX Phones, Trio’s and Group Series systems, through Polycom Device Management System (PDMS), XML configuration profiles, as well as other methods.
  • Experience with implementation and management of Plantronics Device Manager including Plantronics Hub, enterprise firmware management, analytics, and device usage.
  • Owner ship with engagement on vendor hardware management and software support
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems as they relate to audio and video conferencing
  • Design, engineering, and support of all conference room A/V solutions including dependent technologies; displays, projectors, acoustics, and other aspects.
  • Hardware and software technical support analysis
  • Communications and network systems analysis
  • Automated testing and analysis
  • Software quality assurance and testing
  • Software automation/Scripting (PowerShell)
  • Change Management Process
  • Patch Management
  • Coordination with Imaging and Packaging professionals for resolution of software distribution and installation issues
  • Running Client Management Reports
  • Deliver high-quality solutions to our customers to ensure technology is consistent with their business objectives.


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or industry standard certification in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of strong implementation/support experience related to A/V and Client
  • Management platforms
  • A comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of computing processes and technology including, servers, gateways, communications equipment, workstations, software and hardware and associated diagnostics and tools.
  • Comprehensive PC and Mac literacy as it pertains to audio and video conferencing
  • Expertise level of experience with Polycom hardware and software configuration
  • Experience in Polycom Device Management System deployment and configuration a plus
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell
  • Microsoft Intune Policy Management and Configuration
  • Experience in configuring Microsoft Skype Room Systems
  • Commitment to customer-focused contract performance.
  • Maturity of judgment under pressure/ability to diagnose level of customer needs and make work assignments accordingly.
  • Considerable end-user interface by phone and/or in-person necessitates strong (clear) verbal communication skills and credible customer presence.
  • Good written skills and the ability to contribute to and/or lead the written proposal process.
  • Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
