Job Description


This person will be responsible for the complete solution lifecycle, from documenting user reporting/dashboard requirements to architecture/design to development and delivery of reports/dashboards. Experience sourcing, processing, analyzing and reporting on data is essential to meeting position requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend customer-facing requirements meetings and respond to questions / analysis requests using data analysis techniques
• Query databases for the purpose of understanding data lineage in legacy systems
• Understand the implications of integrating new data into reporting and analytics platform, e.g. Data Warehouse, Marts, etc.
• Write business requirements and business rules for managing and integrating data into reporting and analytics databases
• Design, develop and deploy data processes and structures to support Operational, Analytical and Reporting/Dashboard use cases

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience in data analysis, architecture/modeling, ETL, OLAP, business intelligence and reporting/dashboard solution development
• Requires skills in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) architecture lifecycle such as dimensional modeling, ETL processing, OLAP, and Dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of architecture/design, development and deployment of enterprise-wide databases and related systems
• Hands-on experience with databases and database technologies, particularly Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud Platform and Big Query databases, tools/utilities and scripts
• Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence/Dashboard/Reporting tools, e.g. Tableau
• Bachelor’ s degree in related field or equivalent
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to dig for answers without heavy direct instruction
• Good organization and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization
