Job Description

Our client in Carrollton is looking to add an Identity and Access Manager to their growing team who can add expertise and knowledge to the team. This position has responsibility for troubleshooting user access issues, completing and maintaining access documentation and approvals, supporting data collections for regulatory compliance and standards such as SOX, PCI, FedRAMP, CJIS.

  • Must stay up to date on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, privacy legislation, and news items and communicate new finding with other team members.
  • Documents policies, procedures and standards based upon guidance from Corporate Security Management.
  • Recommends changes in security policies and practices in accordance with changes in law or industry security practices.
  • Perform user administration for key security tools and systems.
  • Review and document access requests in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Provision user access ensuring least privilege across various operating systems and environments.
  • Troubleshoot user access issues.
  • Track and report of policy violations.
  • Reconciliation of account documentation and risk forms.
  • Manage repository for control documentation and update documents as needed.
  • Participate in post-mortem reviews and ensure lessons learned are integrated into the regulatory compliance process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with urgent deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Ability to manage changing workloads while maintaining a sense of priorities and delivering quality service within required timeframes
  • Ability to learn new technologies and applications and apply that knowledge to daily workflows
  • Attention to detail, organized and able to work and research independently.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, analytical and problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ experience in Information Technology (any experience in an Information Security or Cloud Technology role is highly preferred).
  • Operational knowledge of cloud technologies, including Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, Active Directory user administration, RBAC, SSO, and SQL user administration.
  • Microsoft 0365 User Administration experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Information Security principals and activities.
  • Experience with Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • System administration experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with various standards (PCI/DSS, SOX, FedRAMP HIPAA, CJIS etc.)
  • Information Security Industry certifications, General Information Technology certifications or college degree. (Security+, CISSP, CISA, SANS GCIH or GCFA, CISM, CCSK, CEH, OSCP, SSCP, CSIH, GSNA, GSAE, Linux+, Network+, MCITP, MCSE, CCNA, RHCSA, etc)
  • Degree in Information Security or Computer Engineering / technology
  • Experience with Information Technology departments in mid to large organizations.
