Job Description


Our client is looking to add a Sr. Manager, Digital Campaign Marketing to their Marketing team. The marketing organization that serves 7 different brands and is rooted in analytics, experimentation, and the test-and-learn approach. Our organization includes strategists, digital marketers, media buyers, analysts, data scientists, market researchers. This is the rare opportunity to come in at the ground level and help shape how a $3bn company does performance marketing.

 

In this role, you will lead digital media buying and campaign execution across programmatic display and video, social media, publishing and affiliate channels, for multiple brands. You will lead a team of channel managers to track and optimize campaign effectiveness, and to evolve the way our organization runs multi-channel marketing campaigns.

 

You will spend your time:
  • Developing, implementing and continuously evolving best practices for digital media campaign management
  • Working with stakeholders across the marketing organization to develop processes to ensure that marketing campaigns are designed and executed in support of brand strategy and in accordance with best practice and co-op requirements
  • Identifying and implementing best practices for ROI measurement
  • Helping to set appropriate KPIs for digital media campaigns and ensuring that targets are met or exceeded for all brands
  • Building and implementing innovation and test-and-learn roadmaps
  • Designing and overseeing execution of testing frameworks to support email marketing performance optimization
  • Partnering with analysts and data scientists to dive deep into performance data and build new models to support optimization and growth efforts
  • Working with multiple external partners to gain deep understanding of new and existing product offerings and brainstorm new approaches and strategies
  • Working with IT to implement dynamic feed integrations
  • Working in Google Campaign Manager, Display & Video 360, Google Analytics 360, Facebook Ad Manager and other relevant platforms
  • Vetting and introducing new tools and partnerships to support campaign optimization, ad personalization, audience segmentation and targeting
  • Building and managing a best-in-class team of digital media channel managers
  • Contributing thought leadership to drive overall Performance Marketing and brand growth efforts, including making budget allocation and omnichannel strategy recommendations
  • Staying informed about industry developments and quickly incorporating new best practices
  • Working in a collaborative team environment to consistently exceed expectations

 

The candidate

 

We are looking for you if you have:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in an analytical field, Master’ s degree preferred
  • At least 5-10 years of hands-on campaign management experience in a cutting-edge environment, either at a top performing digital agency or in a large e-commerce business
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and executing multi-channel campaigns
  • Proven record (at least 2 years of experience) of hiring and building high-performing teams
  • Experience creating complex multi-channel, multi-market campaign plans
  • Significant experience executing all aspects of programmatic display and video campaigns, analyzing and managing performance, running complex tests
  • Experience working with creative teams and building effective workflows
  • Extensive experience with A/B and multivariate testing, landing page optimization
  • Significant experience with Google Display and Video 360, Facebook Ad Manager, Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics 360
  • Experience developing budget recommendations, forecasting and controlling spend
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical mindset, strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization

 

Strong candidates will also have:
  • Experience with budgets and campaigns driven by co-op agreements
  • Experience identifying appropriate KPIs and setting targets for upper funnel marketing
  • Point of view on multi-touch attribution
  • Familiarity with Adobe Omniture
  • Familiarity with SQL, writing queries to extract data from structured database
