Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing and driving multiple strategic projects to support Security Engineering, Cyber Operations, Compliance and system improvement/upgrade projects to drive delivery with speed and quality. This involves ensuring delivery aligned with desired objectives and managing all impediments and risks to ensure successful delivery. This position requires someone who has excellent communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, is able to improve process by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.

The successful candidate will be experienced and motivated, with a strong sense of both urgency and ownership of outcome. This role will act as a Coordinator for critical initiatives, delivering against high expectations and pressing deadlines. Candidate will be accountable for delivering against established milestones, and managing organizational change to achieve transformational goals. The candidate must be able to effectively manage the impact to the broader organization, be detailed-oriented and communicate effectively across all levels of the enterprise. Status reporting and providing transparency into issues and the transformation process will be a key objective and determinant of success.

Primary Tasks
  • Ensures we are achieving desired outcomes and driving momentum in change initiatives
  • Comprehensive Project Management across a small portfolio of projects (3-5)
  • Acts as primary point of contact for the project status, issues, risks, barriers, as well as internal and external communication
  • Partners with other IT organizations, Security, Operations, and other business units to drive progress in transformation initiatives – advocating for our agenda as opposed to being a passive recipient
  • Ensures technical documentation is created and/or kept up to date (process diagrams/documentation, technical documents, policies, procedures, etc.)
  • Maintains strong working relationships with direct reports, stakeholders, peers, and leaders
Required Experience & Education
  • 10 years of experience in Technical Operations and/or Information Technology - including technical or functional project oversight
  • A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline. Master’s degree preferred
  • CSM and/or PMP certifications are required
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring both inside and outside of professional endeavors
