Job Description

Senior Technical Developer/Architect

Hands on Senior Technical Developer/Architect to lead the development team. This hands-on role will be an integral contributor to our Application platform Cloud transformation and also build new customer products.

• You will identify improvements in systems and work and participates in estimation process, use case specifications, reviews of test plans and test cases, requirements, and project planning
• You will be conducting technical architecture and design for POCs on creative approaches and new technologies
• You will consistently demonstrate clear technical judgment, innovation, and consideration for the project objectives
• You will provide technical guidance, supervise others, provide instructions, and debug code written by team members
• You will perform general application design, development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment, and technical user documentation
• You will provide technical leadership to Customer Support and Business teams when there are issues in production environment.
• You will ensure the team produces the highest quality of code and other deliverables.

• Minimum BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related technical field or equivalent experience is required
• Minimum 10 -15+ years’ experience in the software industry.
• 2~3 years’ experience implementing high performance online and batch applications in Google Cloud or AWS.
• 8+ years of development experience utilizing Java, JEE, Spring Framework, MVC, WS – SOAP/REST, Angular/Reactive, ORM(Hibernate, iBatis), Microservices, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, Eureka, Kafka, Mock unit test tools to create scalable solutions, with previous experience in a Lead role
• Experience in a high volume ASP environment with > 99.9x% service availability.
• Knowledge of Internet based (B2C and B2B2C) Financial Services desired (not mandatory).
• Strong experience in Relational (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB et al)
• Strong software development experience with Java and Multi-Threading and OOO principles
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and actively learning and researching new methods of work and new technology.
• A real passion for and the ability to learn and love new technologies.
• Strong communication, decision-making, problem solving, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• A thorough understanding of the test phase of SDLC; Experience with Agile, Scrum models and tools, Kanban knowledge beneficial.
• DevOps and Cloud based experience would be helpful. Implementation experience in Continuous Integration - J2EE deployment using Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar and any new technologies in this arena.
• Comfortable with Security principles on enterprise systems – Certificate Management, Access Management, SIEM and utilized Code Security (Fortify, Veracode, Pen testing) tools for producing highly secured software.
• Comfortable in performance analysis Ex: JVM Tuning – Memory/Heap Analyzer
