Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Understand our client's IT landscape and serve as technical lead on enterprise projects as part of Data Management Services team function.
  • Participate in all aspects of the SDLC lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Analysis of requirements, design and development of robust and scalable solutions to business or operations problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards
  • Coordinate planning and design of new cloud systems to maximize reuse of applications/components, application patterns and adherence to technology standards
  • Ensure that the best technical approach and practices are applied in all phases of the application lifecycle.
  • Assist with problem analysis, propose resolution and provide time + resource estimates for implementing the solution.
  • Develop, enhance, fix bugs, support, test, and document and coordinate application release across environments.
  • Perform code reviews, mentor other developers, be a resource for technical inquiries, provide technical guidance and support for team members.

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 + years of overall IT experience
  • Experience leading teams of developers.
  • 2-3 years of experience migrating legacy .NET applications into the cloud (including evaluation, provisioning, and assessment of cloud ecosystems – AWS or GCP preferred)
  • At least 5 years of experience with solution development following a formal/structured methodology
  • Strong knowledge of appropriate programming and scripting languages – Be proficient in .NET, .NET framework 4.5, WCF or related technology, Angular, AJAX, and JSON, and some type of automated testing frameworks such as Protractor, Selenium
  • Experience with batch processing applications, development, deployments, scheduling, etc.
  • Possess strong API development skills.
  • Experience working in a Cloud environment - either AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with a tool such as JIRA.
  • Preferred experience with BitBucket, SonarQube, CI/CD and Performance Tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in agile software development methodology is a plus
