The Threat Vulnerability Manager will serve as a primary resource for classification, aggregation, prioritization, and management of all vulnerabilities. The Threat Vulnerability Manager will be responsible for vulnerabilities reported in operating systems, middleware, third party and internal applications, reporting status of each vulnerability and risk exposure. The Threat Vulnerability Manager will regularly communicate status of known vulnerabilities within the enterprise to help peers and stakeholders proactively assess risk.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate efforts to remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Review output from automated scanning tools and prioritize required responses.
  • Review high priority security vulnerabilities and rapidly assemble teams to safely implement remediation measures.
  • Work closely with technology and business stakeholders to ensure remediation efforts align with corporate standards and policies.
  • Identifies opportunities for continual process improvement
  • Act as primary point of contact for status and reporting of vulnerabilities across multiple platforms and stakeholders.
  • Must Haves A bachelor' s degree or equivalent work experience in an IT Business role.
  • 6 or more years of relevant work experience, including management of medium to large workloads, and interacting with multiple IT and Business teams at an intermediate level.
  • Minimum of 1  year’ s work experience with security fundamentals and common vulnerabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented, organized and professional approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with full stack IT services and associated security models - including server, operating system, database, hardware, network and application.
  • A general understanding of the security challenges associated with each tier of IT service delivery.
  • Knowledge of industry standard security frameworks and standards (SOX, PCI, NIST, FISMA, etc.)
  • Multi-departmental project/program management experience.
  • Experience with the financial/credit industry.
